😣 Me too
Having moved from the sun soaked, wave-rich Algarve to London 2 years ago, I get itchy waiting for my surf session! However, London is an incredible city offering plenty of distractions to tide you over until your next surf trip.
If you're not escaping the UK this summer, here’s some surf and water related events/ activities to keep you happy until BUCs.
Summer Road Trip - Red Paddleco.
Dates: Thursday 3rd August
Wakeupdocklands is a hub for watersports in the capital. With wakeboarding cables, SUP tours and SUP yoga and pilates.
If the thought of getting into the Thames makes your stomach turn, the sheltered spot opposite the Excel is a different shade of green, very different to the delightful brown waters you might be used to seeing in London! The water temperatures at the moment, mean shorties or no wetsuit boarding.
Red Paddle Company are hosting a day of SUP at Wakeupdocklands, London. Completely free of charge, you’ll have a chance to improve your SUP skills or learn to SUP for the first time! Also a chance to race on Mega SUPs, give SUP Yoga a try and hang out in Lululemon’s Meditation Bus.
Currently working with wakeupdocklands for some exclusive student wakeboarding sessions, more news on that soon!
- Beginner and Advanced SUP Lessons
- Organised Tours of Wakeup Docklands
- SUP Yoga and landbased yoga hosted by Lululemon
- Lululemon Meditation Bus
- Races on our 22’0” Red Dragon boards
- Plenty of summery music
- Food & Drink
